In my various forays into the online writing community, I’ve had several suggestions for books, courses, etc. from people (who weren’t hawking their own stuff). I’ve seen some suggestions to others in comments. At the time, I wasn’t ready for it.
Now I am.
So, I thought it would be helpful to compile a list of books, articles, blog posts, instructors, etc. that others have found helpful in their own writing. Here’s where I need your help. I’m a newbie and don’t have this information.
Sooooo, if there’s something that has helped you, please list it in a comment below. Let me know how it was helpful (grammar, style, making realistic characters, plot, etc).
To make it worth your while, I’m going to compile this into a separate page on my site and I’ll put a link to your site next to anything you recommend. You can list a blog entry you wrote as well, if it’s relevant.
