Spring sprang last night. So now that spring has sprung, the weather has been beautiful. So much so that I simply could not stay at my computer and blog (sorry!). It didn’t help that my writing was doomed from the get-go today. The Little One woke about 48 seconds after I got up (early) to work on my book.
So, instead of thinking up another wonderful, insightful, and humorous blog entry, I took the dog to the dog park and did some gardening. Since I know you are all as concerned as I am about my front lawn/garden, I’ll tell you that I have zombie grass that, no matter how many times I dig it up, keeps coming back. The grass I want (in my yard) won’t be so obliging. I spent the afternoon digging it up – again.
Anyway, I did have a nice poem to put up today, but I’ve decided I like it so much I’m going to be completely selfish and keep it for myself.
So, this is what you get for today. Sorry, but I’m selfish… and even a writer needs to get sunshine at some point.
I hope you (wherever you are) get such nice weather too (and an excuse to use 3 forms of 1 word in 2 sentences).
